Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Lifted. Refreshed. Confident.
Restore youthful shape, position, and firmness to breasts affected by gravity, pregnancy, or weight loss.
Overview
What Is a Breast Lift?
A breast lift, or mastopexy, reshapes and elevates the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue. This procedure is ideal for women whose breasts have lost shape and firmness due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, or aging. Red Rose surgeons use dissolvable sutures and advanced techniques to minimize scarring. A breast lift can be performed alone or combined with augmentation for patients who also want to restore or increase volume.

The Process
What to Expect
Free Consultation
Evaluate breast shape, skin quality, and discuss lift-only vs. lift + augmentation options.
Pre-Op Prep
Complete labs, mammogram if needed, finalize your surgical plan and review pre-op instructions.
Surgery Day
Excess skin is removed, breast tissue is reshaped, and nipples are repositioned. Dissolvable sutures are used.
Recovery & Results
Wear a surgical bra for 4-6 weeks. Breasts settle into their final shape over 3-6 months.
Recovery
Recovery & Aftercare
Most patients return to light activities within 5-7 days. A supportive surgical bra is worn for 4-6 weeks. Swelling and bruising are common initially and resolve over several weeks. Because we use dissolvable sutures, there's no need for suture removal. Your breasts will continue to settle and soften into their final shape over 3-6 months.
Do's
- Wear your surgical support bra as directed
- Sleep on your back or slightly elevated
- Take medications and antibiotics on schedule

Don'ts
